Across the border

The sun does shine

Even where you stand-if you only open your eyes

Through God sent thunder and rains

Crying to cleanse earth’s pains

Being blessed with what you have

Adding the goods minus the bads

Contentment of things –what you make them

Continued balance of your equilibrium

The sky is no bluer on the other side

Weather is the reason south the birds fly

It’s just not where you are

No matter the size a Star-a Star

Across the border

The Moon still lights the ground

Wind blows through trees still making sounds

Here or there

Things are the same everywhere

Across the border

Trying to run away, you going to have to always run further
